What can we do for you?

Chiropodists and Podiatrist are medical practitioners who treat issues with the feet and lower limbs.

We can help with all your nail care needs:

  • Nail cutting/trimming.
  • Thickened or deformed nails.
  • Discolored and damaged nails.
  • Fungal nails.
  • Ingrowing nails.

Ingrowing nails can sometimes be very painful. We can help alleviate this pain by removing the piece of ingrowing nail and treating the affected area.

Nails that are damaged due to injury or footwear can also be very painful and restrict movement. We can treat damaged nails and aid in recovery.

Verrucas are a type of wart that appear on the feet. They can sometimes cause pain or irritation. We will assess whether you have a Verruca and then discuss the different treatments and interventions  you may need to deal with them.

People who are diagnosed with Diabetes should take extra care with their feet. We can carry out a diabetic assessment which includes a vascular survey to monitor blood supply and neurological tests. We can also give practical advice on looking after your feet.

Foot Pain can be an indication of a variety of conditions. We can help assess your foot pain and devise the best treatment and care plan for you.

Our feet do an amazing amount of work. Each foot is made up of 26 bones, 30 joints and more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments, all of which work together to provide support, balance and mobility. It’s no wonder that sometimes they can feel painful, and conditions like Foot Pain, Arch and Heel Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Arthritis, Tendonitis all can have an impact on our daily lives. We use a variety of treatments in these cases ranging from manipulation, massage, strapping, exercises, insoles and orthotics and footwear recommendations.

Some foot issues can be linked to how we walk. A Biomechanical Assessment will examine the movement of the bones, joints and muscles and how they affect walking, running and standing. We will be able to advise on measures to correct or manage any issues, sometimes with the aid of standard or custom made shoe inserts, insoles or Orthotics.

How our feet look can have a big influence on how we feel. We will not only keep a trained eye on the health of your feet but also on their appearance
